Car

If you are traveling by car, start on DN1 (E60) from any location in Prahova Valley. Follow signs towards Brașov. After approximately 35 kilometers, you will reach Brașov. Once in Brașov, follow the signs for Muntele Tâmpa. You will turn onto Strada Muntele Tâmpa, which will lead you up the mountain. There is a parking area near the base of the cable car station. Note that parking may have a cost of around 5 RON per hour.
Public Transportation

If you prefer public transportation, take a train from any major station in Prahova Valley (like Sinaia or Bușteni) to Brașov. The train journey takes about 30-50 minutes, depending on your starting point. Once you arrive at Brașov train station, you can take bus number 20 towards 'Muntele Tâmpa'. The bus ride is about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Muntele Tâmpa'. From there, you will have a short walk to the cable car station. The bus fare is approximately 2 RON.
Cable Car

Once you reach the base of Muntele Tâmpa, you can take the cable car to the top. The cable car operates daily and the ride takes about 5 minutes.
