If you are traveling by car, you can easily reach the Sphinx from various points in the Prahova Valley. From Sinaia, head south on DN1 for approximately 10 km. Look for the signs indicating the Bucegi Natural Park. Turn onto DJ713 and follow the signs to the Babele area. Once you reach the Babele, park your car in the designated area (parking fees may apply, usually around 5-10 RON). From Babele, you can either take the cable car or hike for about 30-40 minutes to reach the Sphinx.

For those using public transportation, take a train from Bucharest to Sinaia. The trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once in Sinaia, you can take a taxi or a local bus to the Babele area (taxi rides can cost around 80-100 RON). Alternatively, you could hike from Sinaia to Babele, which would take approximately 2-3 hours. Once you reach Babele, you can take a cable car (ticket price around 40 RON for a round trip) or hike to the Sphinx, which is about a 30-40 minute walk.

If you are an adventurous hiker, you can start your journey from the nearest village or resort in the Prahova Valley, such as Busteni. From Busteni, take the hiking trail marked towards Babele.
