If you're driving, start from the center of Prahova Valley and head towards Ploiești. Follow the DN1 highway towards Ploiești for approximately 40 kilometers. Once you reach the city, look for signs directing you to the center. As you approach the city, turn onto Strada Toma Caragiu. The County Museum of History and Archeology will be located on your right at Str. Toma Caragiu 10. There is street parking available nearby, but be aware that parking might incur costs depending on the area.

For those using public transportation, take a train from any station in Prahova Valley (like Sinaia or Bușteni) towards Ploiești. Trains run frequently and the journey takes about 30-50 minutes. Once you arrive at Ploiești train station, you can either walk or take a local bus. If walking, exit the station and head towards the main street (Strada Republicii). Walk straight for about 1.5 kilometers, then turn left onto Strada Toma Caragiu. The museum will be on your right at Str. Toma Caragiu 10. If you choose to take a local bus, bus lines 1, 4, and 7 can take you closer to the museum, and tickets cost around 2.5 RON.
