Car

If you're traveling by car from any location in Prahova, start by heading towards the town of Bușteni. From Bușteni, follow the road to the Cable Car station at the base of the Caraiman Mountain. You will need to park your car in the designated parking areas near the cable car station. The cable car ride will take you up to the upper station, where you will start your hike. Note that there may be a fee for parking and the cable car ride, so be prepared with cash.

Public Transportation

For those using public transportation, catch a train from Ploiești to Bușteni. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Bușteni, you can take a local bus or taxi to the Cable Car station. From the cable car station, purchase your ticket for the cable car to ascend to the upper station. After reaching the upper station, follow the marked hiking trails to Cascada Caraiman. Make sure to check the bus and train schedules ahead of time for a smooth trip.

Hiking
