Bus
From the center of Râmnicu Vâlcea, walk to the nearest bus station, which is located at 'Bulevardul Nicolae Balcescu'. Look for bus number 10, which travels towards 'Călimănești'. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop 'Muzeul Trovanților'. The journey should take about 30 minutes. Once you get off the bus, the museum will be a short walk away, clearly marked by signs.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the rental stations in Râmnicu Vâlcea. Head out from the city center and follow the bike path along 'Bulevardul Nicolae Balcescu' until you reach 'DN67'. Continue on 'DN67' for approximately 7 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Muzeul Trovanților, which will be on your right side. Make sure to wear a helmet and obey traffic regulations!
Walking
Starting from the center of Râmnicu Vâlcea, head south on 'Bulevardul Nicolae Balcescu' until you reach 'Strada Ecaterina Teodoroiu'. Turn left and continue straight until you reach 'DN67'. From there, you will need to walk approximately 7 kilometers along 'DN67'. Keep an eye out for the signs pointing to Muzeul Trovanților. This walk will take about 1.5 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
