From Râmnicu Vâlcea, head to the local bus station located near the city center (Strada 1 Decembrie 1918). Look for a bus heading towards Frâncești. Buses are typically scheduled every 30 minutes. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Frâncești stop. Once you arrive, walk towards DJ646B road, following signs for One Tree Monastery, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. The monastery will be on your right.

If you are already in the central area of Râmnicu Vâlcea, you can walk to One Tree Monastery. Start from the City Hall (Primăria Râmnicu Vâlcea) and head southwest on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto DJ646B road. Follow this road for approximately 4 kilometers. The monastery will be on your left. This walk will take you around 1 hour.
