To reach Cheile Gilortului from Ranca Resort by car, start by heading southeast on the DN67C road. Continue on DN67C for approximately 14 kilometers until you reach the town of Novaci. Once in Novaci, look for signs indicating Cheile Gilortului, which is located just a few kilometers outside of the town. Follow the local roads leading to the natural reserve. Parking is available near the entrance, and there may be a small fee, usually around 5 RON (Romanian Leu) for parking.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus from Ranca Resort to Novaci. Buses run regularly, and you can check the schedule at the local bus station or ask for assistance at your accommodation. The bus ride to Novaci typically takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Novaci, you will need to walk or take a taxi to Cheile Gilortului, which is approximately 5 kilometers from the bus station.
