Park your car at the entrance of the park, at the main parking area near the Rausor Chalet. Note that there may be a small parking fee, typically around 5-10 RON (Romanian Lei). From the parking area, follow the marked hiking trails towards Vf. Retezat.

Upon arrival in Hateg, you can take a local bus or taxi to the Rausor Chalet, which is the closest access point to Retezat National Park.
