If you're traveling by car, start from Zalău, the capital of Sălaj County. Head southeast on DN1H (Drumul Național 1H) towards Căpușu Mare. Continue straight for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the village of Căpușu Mare. Once in the village, follow the signs for Canionul Răsca. You will see a parking area near the entrance to the canyon. Note that some roads may be unpaved, so ensure your vehicle is suitable for light off-road conditions.
Public Transportation
To reach Canionul Răsca via public transport, take a bus from Zalău to Căpușu Mare. Buses depart regularly from the main bus station in Zalău. The journey takes about 40 minutes. If you are in Căpușu Mare and have arrived by bus or car, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach Canionul Răsca.
