Car
If you are driving, head towards the city center of Sibiu. Use GPS navigation to set the destination to 'Strada Mitropoliei 2, Sibiu'. There are several parking options nearby, such as the public parking lot on Strada Nicolae Balcescu or Strada Avram Iancu. Parking fees may apply, typically around 1-2 RON per hour. Once parked, walk towards the Brukenthal National Museum, and you will find the History Museum Garden adjacent to it.
Public Transportation
To reach the History Museum Garden using public transportation, take a bus from any location in Sibiu that has a connection to the central area. The buses are frequent, and you can get a ticket from the kiosk or directly from the driver, costing around 2 RON. Get off at the 'Piata Mare' stop, which is the main square. From there, walk towards Strada Mitropoliei, and you will see the entrance to the History Museum Garden. The entire journey should take approximately 15-30 minutes depending on your starting point.
Walking
If you are already within walking distance in the city center, simply head towards Piata Mare (the Great Square). From there, walk along Strada Mitropoliei, which is a straight path leading you directly to the History Museum Garden. The walk from Piata Mare should take about 5-10 minutes. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way, including the architecture of the Brukenthal National Museum.
