Getting There

  • Walking

    Starting from the Sighișoara Citadel, exit the main gate and head down towards the main square, Piața Cetății. Continue straight through the square until you reach the intersection with Strada Nicolae Balcescu. Turn left on Strada Nicolae Balcescu and walk until you reach Piața Muzeului. The Ironsmiths' Tower is located at the edge of this square.

    If you are at the Clock Tower (turnul cu ceas), exit the Clock Tower and head towards the main square, Piața Cetății. From there, proceed towards Strada Nicolae Balcescu. Turn right and walk straight until you reach Piața Muzeului, where you'll find The Ironsmiths' Tower.

    From the Sighișoara Train Station, exit the station and follow the main road, Strada Gării, heading towards the old town. After about a 20-minute walk, you will reach the entrance of the citadel. Continue through the citadel's main gate and follow the signs to Piața Cetății. Once in the square, follow the directions to Strada Nicolae Balcescu to arrive at Piața Muzeului and The Ironsmiths' Tower.
