    Getting There

    Walking

    Start at the Sighișoara Clock Tower (Turnul cu Ceas), which is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the town. From the Clock Tower, head down the hill toward the main square, Piața Cetății. Follow the signs for 'Cetatea Sighișoara' (The Citadel) as you walk. After reaching the square, continue straight ahead until you reach the intersection. At the intersection, turn left onto Strada Războieni. Walk straight along this road, and after a few minutes, you will see The Ropemakers' Tower on your right. It's a tall, historic structure that is not easy to miss.

    If you are starting from the Sighișoara Train Station, exit the station and turn left onto Strada Ștefan cel Mare. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the entrance to the Citadel. Enter the Citadel and follow the cobblestone streets upwards, moving toward the Clock Tower. Once you reach the Clock Tower, follow the directions provided above to reach The Ropemakers' Tower.

    From the Sighișoara Market area (Piața Mare), head toward the Citadel. Walk towards the main entrance, and once inside, you can follow the winding paths upwards. Look for directional signs that lead to historical sites.
