If you are near the Târgu Jiu city center, start at the Central Park (Parcul Central). Exit the park and head southeast on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. Walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Strada Traian. Turn right onto Strada Traian and continue walking for approximately 300 meters. The Art Museum will be on your left at Strada Traian 2.

Public Transport
From the main bus station (Autogara Târgu Jiu), take bus number 1 or 2 towards the city center. Get off at the stop named ‘Teatrul Dramatic’ (Dramatic Theatre). From there, walk down Strada 1 Decembrie 1918 for about 400 meters, then turn right onto Strada Traian, where you will find The Art Museum at number 2, just a short walk ahead.

If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Târgu Jiu Central Park and head southeast on Strada 1 Decembrie 1918. Continue straight for about 500 meters. When you reach the intersection with Strada Traian, turn right and cycle for approximately 300 meters. The Art Museum will be on your left at Strada Traian 2, making for a pleasant ride through the city.
