Starting from the center of Târgu Jiu, head towards the main pedestrian area near the 'Mihai Viteazul' statue. Walk along 'Bulevardul Constantin Brâncuși' heading southwest. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with 'Strada 1 Decembrie'. Turn left onto 'Strada 1 Decembrie' and follow it as it curves to the right, becoming 'Strada Bârsești'. Keep walking straight until you find a small bridge on your left. Vechiul Pod is located near this bridge, and you will see the historical structure as you approach.

From the main bus station in Târgu Jiu, take bus line 1 or 2 that heads towards 'Bârsești'. After boarding, stay on the bus for about 10 minutes. Disembark at the 'Bârsești' stop. From there, walk straight down 'Strada Bârsești' until you reach a small bridge. Vechiul Pod is located near this bridge on your left.
