Car
From the center of Vâlcea, head south on Calea lui Traian (DN7) towards Căciulata. Continue straight for approximately 15 km. As you approach Căciulata, you will see signs for Cozia Monastery. Turn right onto Calea lui Traian 816, and follow the road to the monastery parking area.
Public Transportation
If you're in the center of Vâlcea, take a bus from the local bus station heading towards Căciulata. Buses to Căciulata run regularly and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Căciulata bus station, exit the station and head south on Calea lui Traian. The Cozia Monastery is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Follow the road until you see the monastery on your left.
