If you are traveling by car, head towards the town of Focsani, the capital of Vrancea County. From Focsani, take DN2/E85 towards Adjud. After approximately 25 km, take the exit onto DJ203G towards Haleș. Continue on DJ203G for about 12 km until you reach Ciolanu Monastery, located at DJ203G, Haleș 127613. There is free parking available at the monastery.
Public Transportation
To reach Ciolanu Monastery using public transportation, start at the Focsani bus station. Look for a local bus heading to Adjud or Dalhauti. Get off at the stop for Haleș. From there, you may need to either walk for about 3 km or arrange a local taxi to take you to the monastery. The taxi fare may vary, but it should be around 15-20 RON. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may not run frequently.
