Car
From central Bugesera, head towards the main road (RN1) which connects Bugesera to Kigali. Once on RN1, drive north for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the outskirts of Kigali. Keep an eye out for signs indicating the city center. As you approach Kigali, look for the exit towards KN 3 Ave. Exit and merge onto KN 3 Ave. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will see the Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial on your right. Parking is available nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach the Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial via public transport, first locate the nearest bus station in Bugesera. You will need to take a bus heading towards Kigali. The journey will take about 45 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Kigali, you will need to get off at the Nyabugogo Bus Terminal. From there, you can either take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) or a local taxi. For the moto-taxi, tell the driver 'KN 3 Ave' and they will take you directly to the memorial. Be prepared to pay around 1,500 RWF for the ride. If you opt for a local taxi, the fare will be approximately 2,000-3,000 RWF.
