Walking
If you are starting from the Butare City Center, head south on Avenue de la Révolution. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Avenue du 1er Novembre. Follow this road for approximately 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Paix. Turn left onto Avenue de la Paix and walk for another 300 meters. Kandt House Museum will be on your right, just past the intersection with KN 90 St.

If you prefer to cycle, start from the Butare City Center and head south on Avenue de la Révolution. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you arrive at the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Avenue du 1er Novembre. Cycle for around 500 meters, and when you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Paix, turn left. Continue cycling for another 300 meters, and you will find Kandt House Museum on your right, just past the intersection with KN 90 St.
