If you are driving from Byumba, start by heading south on the main road (RN 7) towards Kigali. Continue on this road for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the town of Kabuga. Once you arrive in Kabuga, look for signage pointing to Umusambi Village. The entrance is located just off the main road. There is parking available on-site.

To reach Umusambi Village using public transport, you can take a bus from Byumba to Kigali. Buses leave frequently from the Byumba bus station. Once in Kigali, transfer to a bus heading towards Kabuga. Upon arrival in Kabuga, ask local residents for directions to Umusambi Village, which is a short walk from the bus stop. The total cost for the bus ride from Byumba to Kigali is around 1,000 RWF, and from Kigali to Kabuga is approximately 500 RWF.
