Car
If you're driving, head towards the main road in Cyangugu. Look for signs indicating the direction to Butare. Once on the main road, continue straight for approximately 15 kilometers. You will see the Canopy Walkway on your right, marked by a sign. There is a small parking area available for visitors.
Public Transportation
To get to the Canopy Walkway using public transportation, find a local bus or minibus heading towards Butare. These can be found at various bus stops throughout Cyangugu. Inform the driver that you would like to stop at the Canopy Walkway. Once you reach the approximate location, alight from the bus and walk back a short distance to the entrance which will be on your right.
