Getting There

Car
If you are driving from the center of Cyangugu, head northeast on Avenue de la Paix towards RN1. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers. You will see a sign for Kagano on your left. Turn left onto RN1 and continue for approximately 2 kilometers. ImuHira Camp&CBT will be on your right side, look for the signs indicating the campground.

Public Transportation (Matatu)
From the center of Cyangugu, find a matatu (shared taxi) station. Board a matatu heading towards Kagano. The fare is approximately 500 RWF. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you are going to ImuHira Camp&CBT. They will drop you off at the nearest point to the campground on RN1. From there, it is a short 10-minute walk to the camp. Follow the road signs to reach your destination.

Bicycle
For those who are adventurous and would like to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Cyangugu. Start your ride from the city center and head northeast towards RN1.
