Car
If you are traveling by car within Eastern Province, you can use a GPS device or a maps application to navigate to HiRwanda's coordinates: Latitude -1.9730398, Longitude 30.0956994. From the main town of Rwamagana, head east on the RN3 road towards Kayonza. Continue for approximately 20 km until you reach a junction near Kayonza. Take the right turn onto the road leading to Gahini. After about 10 km, keep an eye out for local signposts directing you to HiRwanda. The travel time is roughly 40 minutes, depending on traffic. Ensure your vehicle is in good condition, as some sections may be unpaved.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start from any major town such as Rwamagana or Kayonza. Head to the local bus station and look for a bus heading towards Gahini. The fare typically ranges from 500 to 1000 Rwandan Francs, depending on your starting point. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at the stop for HiRwanda. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Gahini stop, you can either walk or take a motorcycle taxi (known as 'moto') to HiRwanda, which is about 3 km away. The moto fare should be around 1000 Rwandan Francs.
