Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Kigali and head east on the Kigali - Bugesera Road (RN1). After approximately 45 km, take the exit towards Nyamata. Continue on this road for another 12 km until you reach the town of Nyamata. From Nyamata, follow the signs to the Eastern Province and head towards the town of Rwamagana. Once in Rwamagana, take the road towards Kayonza, which will lead you closer to Refudia. After about 25 km, you will see a sign for Refudia on your left. Follow this road for about 2 km until you reach your destination. Be prepared for possible tolls along the RN1.

Public Transportation
To reach Refudia by public transportation, start from Kigali's Nyabugogo bus terminal. Take a bus heading to Nyamata (the fare is approximately 500 RWF). The journey will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Nyamata, look for a bus or moto-taxi that can take you to Rwamagana (costing around 1,000 - 1,500 RWF). From Rwamagana, you can find a moto-taxi or a local bus heading towards Kayonza, which should cost around 500 - 1,000 RWF. Ask the driver to drop you off at the turnoff for Refudia, then walk the last 2 km to your destination. Ensure to confirm the bus schedules ahead of time, as they can vary.
