Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the nearest major town, Kayonza. Head east on the RN3 road towards Rwamagana. After approximately 30 km, watch for signs directing you to Ruhindi. The area is well marked, and you will begin to see rural landscapes. Continue on the road until you reach a fork; take the left road which leads towards Ruhindi. It's approximately a 15-20 minute drive from the fork to Ruhindi itself, which is indicated by local signage.

To reach Ruhindi via public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Kayonza bus station. Look for a matatu heading towards Rwamagana and inform the driver that you wish to disembark at the fork leading to Ruhindi. The fare should be around 500 RWF. The journey takes about 30 minutes.
