Walking
From the center of Gisenyi, head north towards Avenue de la Révolution. Continue walking straight until you reach the Nyundo Road intersection. Take a left on Nyundo Road and walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the bus station at Nyundo. From there, look for a local motorcycle taxi or 'moto' to take you towards Cyeza Mountain.
Motorcycle Taxi
Once you arrive at the Nyundo bus station, locate the motorcycle taxis waiting nearby. Negotiate a fare with the driver and inform them you want to go to Cyeza Mountain (in Nyabikenke). The ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes. Ensure the driver knows the location by showing them the coordinates or asking locals for assistance.
Walking (Final Stretch)
As you approach the base of Cyeza Mountain, the motorcycle taxi will drop you off at a nearby road. From there, start walking towards the mountain. Follow the path leading up the mountain, ensuring to stay on the marked trails for safety. Enjoy the beautiful scenery as you ascend, and keep an eye out for local wildlife.
