Car
From your location in Karisimbi Volcano, head towards the Kigali - Ruhengeri Rd (also known as the N4). Follow the signs leading to Ruhengeri. The drive is approximately 30 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. Once you reach Ruhengeri, look for the signs indicating the Isaac Water Falls. You can park your car at the designated parking area near the falls.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, you can take a bus or shared taxi from Kigali to Ruhengeri. The bus station in Kigali is located at Nyabugogo. After arriving in Ruhengeri, you can either hire a motorcycle taxi (known locally as a 'moto') to take you directly to Isaac Water Falls or find a local guide who can assist you. The cost of the bus is typically around 2,000 RWF, and the moto ride may cost an additional 1,000-2,000 RWF.
Walking
If you are already in Ruhengeri and prefer to walk, you can navigate to Isaac Water Falls by following the Kigali - Ruhengeri Rd towards the falls. It's about a 30 to 45-minute walk from the town center, depending on your pace. Be sure to carry water and wear comfortable shoes, as the terrain may be uneven.
