Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Gitarama. Head northwest on Avenue de la République towards Avenue des Musiciens. Continue straight for approximately 1 km until you reach the intersection with Kigali - Ruhengeri Rd (N4). Turn left onto Kigali - Ruhengeri Rd. Continue on this road for about 40 km, following the signs to Ruhengeri. Once you reach Ruhengeri, look for the signs directing you to Isaac Water Falls. The falls are located near the coordinates FMP4+PJH, which is 2 km off the main road. Follow the local signs, and you will find a small parking area nearby.
Public Transportation
For public transport, start by heading to the Gitarama bus station. Look for a bus heading to Ruhengeri, which should take about 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Ruhengeri, ask the driver or local residents about transportation to Isaac Water Falls. You may need to take a motorcycle taxi (called 'moto') for the last part of the journey. The moto ride will take around 10-15 minutes and cost approximately 1,500 RWF to 2,000 RWF depending on negotiation.
