From the center of Karongi, head towards the main road (A1) that runs along the lake. Walk alongside the lake for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the road leading to Muhanga. At this intersection, you will see signs pointing towards Muhanga. Follow the road signs for approximately 2 kilometers.

Bicycle

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Karongi. Start from the town center and head towards the lakefront. Follow the lakeside road for about 10 minutes and then take a right turn at the junction towards Muhanga. Continue along this road for around 2 kilometers until you reach the Muhanga Dam, where Kucyinamba-Muhanga is located. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.

From the main bus station in Karongi, take a moto-taxi or a shared taxi to Muhanga. Inform the driver that you are heading to Muhanga Dam. The journey should take about 15-20 minutes. Once you arrive at Muhanga, you can ask locals for directions to Kucyinamba-Muhanga, which is a short walk from the main road.
