Car
From Kibungo, take the main road towards Kigali. After approximately 30 kilometers, look for the signs directing you towards Mount Jali. Follow the signs for about 10 kilometers, and you will arrive at the base of Mount Jali. Parking is available near the trailhead.
Public Transportation (Bus)
Take a bus from Kibungo to Kigali. Buses leave regularly from the main bus station in Kibungo. The fare is typically around 1,500 Rwandan Francs. Upon reaching the bus terminal in Kigali, look for a local minibus or taxi that goes to the Nyakariba area. This journey may cost around 500 Rwandan Francs. Once you arrive in Nyakariba, you can either walk or hire a moto-taxi to take you to the trailhead of Mount Jali, which is about 5 kilometers away.
Moto-Taxi
If you are in Nyakariba, you can hire a moto-taxi to take you directly to Mount Jali. The fare is usually around 1,000 Rwandan Francs. Make sure to negotiate the price before starting your ride.
