From Kibungo, head west on the RN3 road towards Kigali. Continue straight for approximately 70 kilometers. As you approach Kigali, keep an eye out for signs directing you to the city center. You will eventually merge onto KN 2 Ave. Continue on this road until you reach KN 18 Ave. Turn right onto KN 18 Ave, and the Mur de Kigali will be located at coordinates 23P4+6Q6 on your right. There is usually parking available nearby, but be mindful of local parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach Mur de Kigali from Kibungo using public transportation, take a bus from the main bus station in Kibungo heading towards Kigali. The journey takes about 2 to 3 hours, depending on traffic. Upon arrival at the Nyabugogo bus station in Kigali, you can either take a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) or a local bus to reach the Mur de Kigali. If taking a moto-taxi, show the driver the address (23P4+6Q6, KN 18 Ave, Kigali) and it should cost around 1000 RWF. If using a local bus, board a bus heading towards the city center and disembark at a stop near KN 18 Ave, then walk to the destination.
