Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Kibungo at the main roundabout. Head southeast on the Nyanza-Kibungo Road (also known as RN1) for about 10 kilometers. You will pass by several local shops and small villages. As you approach Kibuye, keep an eye out for signs directing you towards the Museum of Environment. The museum is located on the left side of the road, right before you reach the center of Kibuye. There is a parking area available for visitors.

To reach the Museum of Environment using public transport, you can take a moto-taxi or a bus from Kibungo. If you choose a bus, look for those heading towards Kibuye. Buses typically leave from the main bus station in Kibungo and the fare is around 500 Rwandan Francs. The journey should take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Kibuye, inform the driver to drop you off near the Museum of Environment, which is located along the main road. From the drop-off point, it should be a short walk to the museum entrance.
