If you are starting from the Kibuye town center, head northwest on Avenue de la Paix towards Rue des Petits Frères. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue du Lac. Walk along this road for about 1 kilometer, passing by local shops and cafes. You will notice the beautiful views of Lake Kivu on your left. After 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for the Museum of Environment on your right. Follow the path to the entrance.

Begin at the Kibuye town center and rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Start your ride heading northwest on Avenue de la Paix. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout, where you will take the second exit onto Avenue du Lac.
