Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Avenue des Collines. Take the second exit onto Rue de l'Agriculture, which will lead you towards the outskirts of the city. Keep following this road, which eventually turns into Route de Kigali. Follow the signs towards Mount Rebero. As you drive, you will notice the landscape change, and you'll see signs directing you to the hiking area. Parking is available at the base of Mount Rebero.

Public Transportation (Moto-Taxi)
For those using public transportation, the most efficient way to reach Mount Rebero is by taking a moto-taxi from any central location in Kigali. Simply find a nearby moto-taxi stand or request one through a ride-hailing app. Inform the rider that you want to go to Mount Rebero. The fare typically ranges from 1,500 to 3,000 RWF depending on your starting point in Kigali. The moto-taxi will take you directly to the base of Mount Rebero, where you can begin your hike.

Public Transportation (Bus)
If you prefer to use a bus, you can take a bus from the Nyabugogo bus terminal that services routes towards the eastern suburbs. Look for a bus heading towards Kicukiro or Kayonza and get off at the nearest stop to Mount Rebero. From there, you can either walk or hire a moto-taxi to take you to the base of the mountain. Be sure to ask the bus conductor to let you know when you reach the appropriate stop. The bus fare is minimal, usually around 300 to 500 RWF.
