Great host, great experience
Sandra is a very warm and joyful personality and a good guide. She showed me things about the nightlife that I would never have found myself. I am glad to have taken this tour

Kigali Private Car Cultural and Historical Tour with a Guide
A Wonderful Kigali Tour with Cedric
We had a great experience touring Kigali with Cedric. He was very patient with me and my family throughout the entire tour, and he made sure we were comfortable and never felt rushed. Cedric is knowledgeable about Rwanda and its history, and he did a great job explaining the different places we visited and answering our questions. If you find yourself in Rwanda and need someone to show you around Kigali, look no further — I highly recommend Cedric. Thank you for making our experience in Rwanda a memorable one! 🇷🇼

Kigali Private Car City Tour with a Local Guide
4hours? Great 1st Day Intro and Tour of City.
Sandra isn’t just a local guide—she has a university degree in tourism and hospitality, and it shows. As a solo traveler, I especially appreciated how comfortable and safe I felt exploring Kigali with her. In about four hours, we covered a surprising amount of the city without ever feeling rushed. We visited the Niyo Art Center, explored the famous Kimironko Market, walked through the Kigali Car Free Zone, paid respects at the Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial, and experienced the colorful Nyamirambo neighborhood. Kimironko Market was a highlight and an experience all its own! It is insanely crowded, loud, colorful and full of energy. The vendors can be aggressive and very persistent about making a sale, but I never felt physically threatened or unsafe. No one touched me, and despite the crowds, I had no issues with pickpocketing. Even when I didn’t buy, the interactions often ended with a smile. You can shop for beautiful fabrics and even have a dress made for you in just a few hours. Sandra also introduced me to Rwanda’s famous coffee, served with a biscuit—a simple stop that became one of those memorable little travel moments. I appreciated her attention to cultural sensitivity as well. She reminded me to dress respectfully when visiting the Kigali Genocide Memorial, including no shorts. Those details matter and showed that she wanted me not only to see Kigali, but to experience it respectfully. Sandra was knowledgeable, punctual, personable and fun to spend time with. I laughed, learned, shopped and saw a side of Kigali I probably would not have experienced on my own. An excellent tour, especially for a solo traveler who wants to experience more than the usual tourist stops.
