Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the central area of Kigali, start at the Kigali City Tower (KCT). From KCT, head south towards Avenue de la Paix. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with KN 5 Ave. Turn right onto KN 5 Ave and walk past the Kigali Convention Centre on your left. After a few minutes, you will reach the junction with KN 6 Ave. Turn left onto KN 6 Ave. Hôtel des Mille Collines will be on your right at 2 KN 6 Ave. Look for the large hotel facade.

• Public Transport (Moto Taxi)

  If you prefer a quicker option, find a moto taxi (motorcycle taxi) near your location. Tell the driver to take you to Hôtel des Mille Collines at 2 KN 6 Ave. The ride should not take more than 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your ride.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  For those using public buses, look for a bus heading towards Remera or Kimironko. You can board the bus at any major bus stop in Kigali. Once on the bus, inform the conductor that you are heading to Hôtel des Mille Collines. The bus will drop you off at the nearest stop to the hotel, from where you can walk about 5-10 minutes to reach your destination. As you approach the vicinity, follow the signs to KN 6 Ave.

• Walking (from Nyamirambo)

  If you are in the Nyamirambo area, walk towards the main road and find the bus stop for public transport heading to the city center. Take any bus that heads towards Kigali City Centre. Once you reach the city center, follow the previous walking instructions starting from Kigali City Tower. Alternatively, you can walk directly to the hotel, which will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
