Moto-taxi
To reach the King's Palace Museum in Nyanza, you can take a moto-taxi from any central location in Muhanga. Head to the main bus station in Muhanga and look for moto-taxi drivers waiting for passengers. When you approach a driver, tell them you want to go to 'Nyanza King's Palace Museum'. The journey will take about 30 minutes, and the fare should be around 1,500 Rwandan Francs. Make sure the driver knows the exact location before you start your trip.
Public Bus
If you prefer to use public transport, you can take a bus from Muhanga to Nyanza. Go to the main bus terminal in Muhanga and look for buses heading to Nyanza. Once you board, inform the conductor that you are going to the King's Palace Museum. The bus ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Nyanza, you may need to walk or take a short moto-taxi ride to the museum, which is around 5-10 minutes away from the bus stop.
Walking
For the more adventurous, if you are near Nyanza, you can walk to the King's Palace Museum. From the center of Nyanza, head towards the main road (A104). Walk along this road, following the signs to the museum. It is about a 30-minute walk from the town center. Be sure to ask locals for directions if you are unsure, as they are usually very friendly and helpful.
