Walking
From the center of Muhanga, head southeast on Avenue de la Réunification towards Avenue du Commerce. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the main road (RN1). Cross the road and take a left onto RN1, heading towards Kigali. Walk for approximately 10 kilometers along this road. Once you reach Kigali, look for signs directing you to KN 3 Ave. Turn right onto KN 3 Ave and continue walking for about 500 meters. The Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial will be on your left.
Bicycle
Rent a bicycle in Muhanga and head southeast on Avenue de la Réunification towards Avenue du Commerce. Cycle straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with RN1. Find a moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) in Muhanga. Tell the driver you want to go to the Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial on KN 3 Ave in Kigali. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you directly to the memorial, which is located on your left side once you arrive at KN 3 Ave.
Public Transport (Bus)
To reach the Belgian Peacekeepers Memorial using public transport, locate the bus station in Muhanga. Take a bus heading towards Kigali, which typically departs every 30 minutes. The journey will take about 30 to 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Kigali, get off at the main bus terminal. From there, you can either walk (about 15 minutes) or take a moto-taxi to KN 3 Ave. If walking, head east towards KN 3 Ave, then turn left and walk for another 500 meters to reach the memorial.
