Car
If you're driving from any location in Nyabarongo River, begin by heading towards the main road leading to Kigali. Follow signs for Kigali and continue on the RN1 highway. After approximately 30 km, you will enter the city of Kigali. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Akinama area. Once in Akinama, navigate to the coordinates 2226+RQ, which is the Mwendo hiking way. There is limited parking available near the hiking area.
