Bicycle
From the center of Nyagatare, head northwest on Avenue de la Paix towards Avenue de la République. Continue straight onto Rue des Réserves. After about 2 kilometers, turn left onto the main road heading towards Nyarutovu. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach a fork. Keep right at the fork, and after about 1 kilometer, you will arrive at Grottes de Kabuye, which will be on your left. Look for signs indicating the hiking area.

Walking
Starting from Nyagatare Town, walk towards Avenue de la Paix. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Avenue des Réserves. Turn left and follow this road for approximately 2 kilometers. When you reach the T-junction, turn right onto the main road that leads to Nyarutovu. Walk for about 6 kilometers; you will pass several local shops and farms along the way. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to Grottes de Kabuye as you approach the area.

Public Transport (Moto-taxi)
From any point in Nyagatare, find a nearby moto-taxi. Inform the driver that you want to go to Grottes de Kabuye in Nyarutovu. The driver will take you directly to the location. This ride should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Upon arrival, you can confirm with the driver that you have reached the hiking area, which is identified by signs at the entrance.
