Walking
Start at the Nyagatare Town Center. Head north on Avenue du Commerce. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Paix. Turn left onto Avenue de la Paix and follow it until you reach the bus station. From the bus station, look for a local bus heading towards Byumba. Get on the bus and inform the driver that you are going to National Liberation Museum Park/Mulindi. The bus will take you to Byumba, which is approximately 20 kilometers away. Once you arrive in Byumba, ask locals for directions to the museum, as it is well-known in the area. It should be a short walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nyagatare. Start at the Nyagatare Town Center and head north on Avenue du Commerce. Continue cycling straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue de la Paix. Turn left on Avenue de la Paix and proceed until you reach the bus station. From there, you can either take a local bus to Byumba or continue cycling directly to Byumba. The cycling route to Byumba is scenic but may take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Byumba, ask locals for the location of the National Liberation Museum Park/Mulindi.
