If you are traveling by car, make your way to the main road that runs along Lake Bunyonyi. Once you reach the town of Kabale, take the road towards Lake Bunyonyi. Continue driving until you see signs for Birdnest @ Bunyonyi Resort. The resort is located in Chabahinga, which is directly accessible from the lakeside road. Look for the turn-off that leads to Chabahinga and follow the winding road until you reach the resort. Parking is available on-site.

Public Transport (Matatu)
To use public transport, head to the nearest matatu (shared taxi) stop in Kabale. Look for a matatu heading to Lake Bunyonyi. The fare is approximately 2,000 UGX per person. Ask the driver to drop you off at Chabahinga. Once you arrive in Chabahinga, you can either walk to Birdnest @ Bunyonyi Resort, which is about a 15-minute walk from the drop-off point, or you may find a local boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you directly to the resort for around 1,000-2,000 UGX.

If you are already in the vicinity of Lake Bunyonyi, you can hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you directly to Birdnest @ Bunyonyi Resort. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which should be around 3,000-5,000 UGX depending on your starting point. The ride should take about 10 minutes from nearby locations.
