If you're traveling by car, head towards the Lake Bunyonyi area from Kabale town. From Kabale, take the road towards Lake Bunyonyi, and after approximately 10 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Crater Bay Cottages and Camp. The location is at PWHQ+X77, Chabahinga. The last stretch may involve a bumpy road, so drive carefully. Once you reach the vicinity, look for the signage for Crater Bay Cottages which is situated near the lakeshore.

To reach Crater Bay Cottages and Camp using public transport, take a taxi or 'matatu' from Kabale town heading to Lake Bunyonyi. Inform the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Crater Bay Cottages. Most drivers are familiar with the area, but it’s advisable to mention the name so they can assist you. Once you get dropped off, you may need to walk for about 1 kilometer to reach the cottages. Follow the path leading down towards the lake; you will see signs for the cottages along the way.

Ensure you agree on the fare before setting off; prices can vary but expect to pay around 20,000 to 30,000 UGX for a short ride.
