Walking
Starting from Nyagatare town center, head southeast on Avenue de l’Unite until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Avenue des Sports. Continue straight for about 1 km until you see the sign for Taba. Turn left onto the road leading to Taba and follow it for approximately 2 km. You will pass by the Nyagatare Market on your left. Keep walking straight until you reach the intersection with the sign for Katabagemo. Turn right at this intersection, and after about 500 meters, you will arrive at Nyagatare (Katabagemo).
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Nyagatare bus station. Head south on Avenue de l’Unite, then take a right at the roundabout onto Avenue des Sports. Cycle straight for about 1 km and turn left at the sign for Taba. Continue cycling for around 2 km, passing Nyagatare Market, until you reach an intersection with a sign for Katabagemo. Turn right and cycle for about 500 meters to reach your destination.
Motorbike Taxi (Moto)
To get to Nyagatare (Katabagemo) by motorbike taxi, find a moto taxi stand in Nyagatare town (there are several near the bus station). Inform the driver that you want to go to Katabagemo. The driver will take you along Avenue de l’Unite, then onto Avenue des Sports. After about a 10-minute ride, they will turn left at the sign for Taba. The ride will take approximately 20 minutes, depending on traffic, and will drop you off at the entrance to Katabagemo.
