If you are in the center of Nyamata, start by heading towards the main road, known as the Nyamata-Kigali Road. Walk north until you reach the intersection with the Kigali-Kamonyi Road. Turn left at this intersection and continue walking. After about 1 km, you will reach a bus stop. From there, you can catch a local bus heading towards Kigali. Make sure to ask the driver to drop you at the Kandt House Museum stop on KN 90 St.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nyamata. Begin your journey by cycling towards the main road, the Nyamata-Kigali Road. Continue north for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection with Kigali-Kamonyi Road. At this intersection, take a left and cycle for another 1 km. Look for signs pointing towards the Kandt House Museum. The museum will be on your right on KN 90 St.
