If you are starting from the Nyamata Genocide Memorial, head northwest on the main road towards the town center. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the KG 14 Avenue. Turn left onto KG 14 Avenue and walk about 1.5 km. The Kigali Genocide Memorial will be on your right, easily identifiable by its well-marked signs.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Nyamata. Start by heading north on the main road through Nyamata. After about 2 km, you will reach a roundabout; take the second exit onto the KG 14 Avenue. Continue cycling for approximately 1 km, and you will find the Kigali Genocide Memorial on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.

From Nyamata, locate the nearest bus stop that services routes towards Kigali. Board a bus heading to Kigali and ask the driver to drop you off at the Kigali Genocide Memorial or at the nearest stop on KG 14 Avenue. The bus ride should take around 30-40 minutes. Once you get off, walk approximately 500 meters along KG 14 Avenue, and the memorial will be on your right.
