Walking
Start your journey from the center of Rubavu. Head east on Avenue de l'Indépendance towards the lake. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Avenue du Lac. Turn left onto Avenue du Lac and walk along the beautiful lakeside path. Keep walking until you reach the bus station. From there, ask locals for directions to the bus terminal that leads to Ruhengeri, where Isaac Water Falls is located.
Public Transport
At the bus station in Rubavu, board a bus heading to Ruhengeri. The journey will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Ruhengeri bus terminal, exit the bus and look for a local moto-taxi (motorcycle taxi) or a shared taxi that can take you closer to Isaac Water Falls. Make sure to show the driver the address: FMP4+PJH, Kigali - Ruhengeri Rd.
Moto-Taxi
Once you are near the area of Isaac Water Falls, the moto-taxi driver will drop you off at the closest point accessible by vehicle. From there, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the falls. Follow any signs or ask locals for the final walking path to the falls.
