Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Gisenyi, head east towards Avenue du Lac. Walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Road de la Plage. Turn right at the junction and continue walking for another 1.5 kilometers along the lakeside road. Look for signs pointing towards Nyakinama, and keep an eye out for local landmarks like the Gisenyi Port on your left. After reaching Nyakinama, you will see the Red Rocks Community Arts Center on your left side along Road. It's easily identifiable by its vibrant community art displays outside.

  • Bicycle

    If you have rented a bicycle, start from Gisenyi town center and head towards Avenue du Lac. Cycle along the lakeside road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with Road de la Plage. Turn right and continue cycling for another 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Nyakinama. Once you arrive in Nyakinama, look for the Red Rocks Community Arts Center on your left side along Road. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
