From the center of Rubavu, head towards the main road (A3). Walk south along the road until you reach the junction with Avenue de la Paix. Turn right onto Avenue de la Paix. Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach Lake Kivu. The Gorilla Statue is located near the lakeshore in the Kiyovu area.
