If you are starting from the central area of Rubavu, head towards the main road (A2) that leads north towards Gisenyi. Walk along the road for about 15-20 minutes. You will pass various shops and local eateries on your way. Continue until you reach the intersection with the road leading to the beach. Turn left onto this road.

After turning left, continue walking for approximately 10 minutes. You will see signs pointing towards Rubavu Public Beach. Follow these signs. The road will lead you directly towards the beach area, where you will start to see the lake and beach front.
