    From the center of Ruhengeri, head towards the main road known as Avenue de l'Indépendance. Continue walking straight until you reach the roundabout at the intersection with Avenue de la Réunification. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Avenue de la Réunification. Follow this road for about 3 kilometers until you reach the turnoff towards Nyakinama.

    Once you reach the turnoff for Nyakinama, take this road and walk for about 1.5 kilometers. As you approach Nyakinama, you will see local signs pointing towards Kiguhu Birdwatching Wetland. Follow these signs, and you will eventually arrive at the wetland area.
